Rugs woven on a traditional loom
Rugs over a hundred years old, made in Baia households and donated by villagers.

The rugs in this hall were woven on the horizontal loom used in Baia households until the middle of the twentieth century. The wool was spun at home and dyed with local plants, and the geometric patterns were passed down from mother to daughter.
Every piece on display was donated to the museum by families from the commune, together with its story.
